Getting to the property:

From the AIRPORT (approx. 16 km, 25 minutes by car).

From the SEA TERMINAL (approx 3 km,  8 minutes by car)

Parking: 

Please note the accommodation does not offer any parking facilities, however, free public parking is available within 100 yards of the main entrance on Douglas Promenade (where cars can be parked overnight). Summerhill is quite a steep hill and only has a pavement on one side. There are no nearby pedestrian crossings and we recommend all customers take care when crossing the road. The property can be identified by the large "Promenade House" sign above the main entrance.

Entering the property:

There are steps up to the front entrance of the hotel and unfortunately due to the historic nature of the building we do not have any access for wheelchairs. The property doors are manually operated. There is no reception,guests are provided with secure codes to access the property. The property has four floors accessible by stairs. As there is no lift, we would not recommend the property for guests who might struggle physically to climb stairs.

Bathroom Facilities:

Most rooms have level access to the bathrooms from the bedrooms but not all (please contact us directly should you have any concerns). As the hotel is not suitable for wheelchair users there are no disabled facilities.
